The brass/gold feature was too yellowThe product photo is false! The product photo leads you to believe that its a nice kinda muted vintage gold but that's not what color it is at all! Its YELLOW! It looks like the cheap plastic gold necklace you would get from a party store- It was awful to install and it wobbles so therefore we can not turn it up higher than low! I wish i could return it but my husband had already thrown out the box and we spent so much time installing it im not sure it would even be worth it to take it down. Im pretty annoyed about all this so buyer beware! I wish i would have just spent a little bit more and actually got a fan that functions and isn't offensively uglyWhomever created the installing guide for this items must have been building a different fan. There were MULTIPLE wires on my fan that are NOT on the fan in the installation guide. I had to hire someone from TaskRabbit (for $175 and it took him almost 2 hours. An ACTUAL electrician) to come and install it because the directions were essentially useless. The fan itself is great, very nice looking, very quiet. Just not very user friendly if you aren't very familiar with wiring.I like this fan. Its my second one. The first came with the glass shade broken. This one arrived a bit beat up too, but you can't tell from where it's hanging. The light is very bright and a bit too white. I put orange cellophane under the LED to soften the light. Overall its a good fan, works well and has a good remote.Love the look of the fan. It looks well made, retro. I get a lot of compliments on the aesthetics. That’s where the good review ends. It’s VERY loud. To the point where we have to turn it off when we’re in that room. My cat won’t even sleep on the couch when it’s on. Also, it’s not reversible. We spent hours researching how to get it to change directions - there’s no button on the remote, no switch on the fan, no special combo of things to do or push. There’s no way to reverse it. So, it’s pretty, but very loud and not reversible. Super disappointing.Nice looking fan.Nice fan, quiet with good light but globe arrived broken.
