I am a Physical Therapist and I bought these for my clinic. They are covered in a very gripping material, so it’s comfortable, easier to use, and adds a modicum of safety. My weights only went up to 10 pounds, but I definitely needed an additional weight for those who can progress to 15 pounds safely. I appreciated that they were a set, they easily fit on a universal weight stand, so it’s easy to store. They did not give off an odor, which is a plus because some others smell heavily of plastic. Since I have found they are appropriate for professional use, I’d recommend them for personal use depending upon your needs. Excellent and quality product that’s affordable. A+
