For the price can’t go on but don’t expect to open really tall cans as the base a base that sticks out so can’t fit other than that great product for the price pointColor is accurate it don’t open the bigger cans so wellDidn't expect a lot for the price-nice surprise. Durable and easy to clean & useWe have tried most battery can openers known to mankind! The cheap, you know you are going to eventually throw this thing away, worked the best while they did work. It was only for the convenience that we bought them. But marketing knew better so they added features and added cost prevailed and sometimes these things did not open there first can! Instead I started looking for a can opener that worked, the first time and each time after that! And that is what we got with this can opener! It is attached to a cord but it works! If I had anything to do with it I would have made the can opener about 1 inch taller, to make opening large and tall cans easier but maybe we don't faff in this demographic. I wholeheartedly recommend this can opener for price and performance. We bought this can opener well over a year ago. It works great for our family of 5.I have had so many can openers that just haven't pleased me. They might open cans, but I hate needing to stand then and support them while they do so! And way too often I've put a can of tomatoes, or a large can of soup on one, walked away, and the entire thing simply tipped to the front, they weren't balanced for holding large or heavy cans. And you can imagine the mess! So I tried one of those "no cut" can openers that basically unfolds the lid's seals and leaves no sharp edges. They work great... on certain cans. But forget it on canned sea foods, like tuna, shrimp, clams. Tomato products are hit and miss, some they open, some they simply deform the lid so that you have to use a manual can opener to get into them. Then I started trying different brands of openers, hoping for one that could handle large or heavy cans. This Amazon brand opener is the first one I've found that has NOT tipped over, and I've waited for weeks before posting a review, so I could really test it out. It's not bad looking, matches my stainless steel appliances, so that's a plus. But the most important thing is that it opens my cans, ALL of my cans, and I haven't had to hover over it the entire time, just waiting for it to tip over and spill a mess all over my counters! Oh, I did hover for the first few days, but now, I just get the can started, then come back to remove it once it's opened. I am VERY happy with this can opener. It's basic, and it does the job. And that's all I want from my can opener! Altho some may think its convenient, I found the cord very difficult to remove from the little storage area on the back.Once I got the cord out and plugged in - the very first can I tried to open - didn't work!! It started to pierce the top, but then stopped and was stuck! Tried a 2nd can, same thing! Finally on the 3rd can that I needed opening, it worked!Would not recommend this at all..We couldn't get this opener to work consistently - occasionally we were able to open a can with it. Unfortunately, we missed the return deadline trying to get it to work properly and now we're stuck with it.It broke after first use, where is QA of this product? I am going to exchange, maybe a better luck next time.Update after a month of use.Rusting VERY badly.The blade may be stainless steel but the other metal parts are not. Not worth the hassle of trying to clean properly, every use. Back to my search for the perfect can opener. :-(.............My previous 4 star review...Looks good, sturdy construction, good sized magnet, quiet, cuts can edges fairly smoothly, good price compared to similar products, not difficult to clean.Cord storage is not great (too hard to re-insert cord) but not a deal breaker.Will update if any issues arise.
