I found this a very good reference book -- it is filled with good basic information -- and is current because it includes some new threads that have recently come on the market (within past 2-3 years). it is easy to read and i like the binding of the book as the pages lay flat when you're doing one of the various exercises in the book. definitely a "keeper" for a quilter and thread lover.
