I really wanted to love this but it falls just a bit short of my expectations. When you are trying to score 12" paper, the score blade doesn't go high enough to get through the top ½" or so of paper. It would be nice if the cutting and scoring blades were different colors or marked on top to quickly differentiate between the two. If the blade channel was just a bit longer in both directions it would be outstanding.it works well enough. i like that it is portable and lightweight but still a good width and length. one flaw is the ruler on the right edge isn't adhering. i will be able to glue it but its annoying because it hasnt been used that much and is only at the most two months old. the blade is not holding it's edge. sad because i bought several replacements which probably won't last any longer than the original one. i've had good luck with other Amazon products i use. this one is just a disappointment.I bought this to cut a lot of paper. I found that for about 10 pages it was tough. It has plastic parts that go up and down to lock your paper in place and one was not fitting right when it locked. It was slightly misaligned. When cutting the cuts were okay if you cut three sheets, at around 10 sheets the result was not always good. For cutting one to three sheets it works okay, but larger amounts, I would not use it. I end up buying a commercial paper cutter, I expect to finish my project about 90% faster with the commercial cutter. For a large project requiring cutting more than 10 pages at a time, I would not get it. If I could redone everything I would go straight for the commercial cutter.Works great and tye fact it is so light and somewhat compact is a plus. The only downside is the ruler marks are covered up when trying to cut full size office paper so alignment for a good perpendicular cut is impossible. Other than that it cut 3 pages thick with ease and perfectly straight, not measured perfectly but.....that works ok for my needs.I should know better by now not to expect high quality from anything Amazon rips off. It cuts paper fine, and is super light weight, but it does not really have a good way to lock the blade closed. The cutting arm is flimsy, and the magnetic paper stop is laughable and unusable. Get something better and don't waste your money, unless you know what to expect.This is flimsy. Don’t expect precision. I purchased for card making. Cutter is thin and dull. Had difficulty cutting one piece 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. Not recommended.The paper cutter works very well. It's easy to use, accurate, stores easily (I keep it in the box and store it upright on a shelf). I had an album to make as a gift, and using this paper cutter made the project much much easier.Guys, this is a very inexpensive, lightweight handy paper cutter. No, it will not slice throughout 10 pieces of paper like the $300 guillotine slicer that you have at your office But it will provide a perfectly straight, clean slice for one or two sheets. Not sure how long the blade will stay sharp, but for the price, this is perfect. It's lightweight so I can carry it in a briefcase, it's sturdy and it also has a second slider that doesn't slice, but it scores the paper for a nice straight fold.Como la mayoría de productos de AmazonBasics tiene una buena calidad para el precio que se paga.
