The interior compartments of the bag are a little odd, but this duffel bag seems fairly well constructed, and you can't beat the price.Yes, I was flabbergasted by how well made this was and is. Used it pretty hard for 3 months straight and it still looks new. Very very happy with this purchase. Would buy again with no worries. Excellent for the price , well excellent at any price actually. A keeper.I do a ton of travel and have been through bag after bag after bag! This one is the real deal. So far it has done amazing and held up where others have not. Space, size and compartments are perfect!For my work I do a lot of traveling. Over the years the Drop-Bottom bags have taken over as my bag of choice. I like to put my work tools and clothes in the bottom and my walk-around clothes and things in the top. It’s great!I used to be able to find them anywhere (both super cheap and really nice and sturdy). A month ago I decided to replace my previous drop-bottom bag with a new one… but they are super difficult to find. Some that I did find were very flimsy.I’d seen the Amazon bag a few times during my search, but bad reviews kept me continuing my search. Finally, out of time I bit the bullet and got one. When it arrived, I was impressed with the solid construction, and many straps (for cinching and keeping the zippers from opening), the nice wheels, and again, rugged construction.Granted, last weeks business trip was only 6 days, but that included 5 flights and a lot of dragging it into job sites and into hotels. I was concerned about the zippers opening on the plane, but they never did (possibly because the straps were cinched for all flights).The bag feels solid, it rolls nice, it has nice pocket placement, and I’m hoping that it lasts a long time.I’ll update this review if anything changes.The bottom should not drag against the ground.I bought the large size which is 35" x 16" x 16". So the total inches= 67" which is a tad more than the typical airline checked baggage size limit of 62". I think it's 'close enough' as I checked it no problem on Jet Blue, BUT note that this bag can be cinched with a strap located at the top of the bag and also with two straps that run vertically around the belly of the bag. So as long as you don't overstuff it, I'm sure it could be cinched if needed to meet with the size restrictions (as long as you're also under the 50 lbs you're typically allowed!)So.....I was expecting a cheap-o bag for the price. What a nice surprise that this bag is AMAZING. Wow! It is really well constructed, holds a ton, and has some great pockets both outside and in that are super-handy.It's worth noting that the bag has a mesh center 'flap' that runs the full length of the bag smack down the middle, which divides the main bag storage area in half (i.e. you have two separate sections inside, each of which is about 8"x 16" x 35") In other words, if you lay the bag flat on it's side (with wheels to one side and handle to the other) you open the top 'half' up like a suit case to access the bottom section. Or, zip open the zippered top panel to access the top section.That said, this mesh flap CAN ALSO BE ENTIRELY UNZIPPED so that you just have one jumbo bag, in which case opening the top zippered panel would allow full access to BOTH the top and lower areas as if they were one section....However, it's good to know that if you open the mesh panel fully, there is still about a 1" border all the way around (three sides) of the interior where the zipper/closure runs.Because of this, if you wanted to fit something large inside - say a box that is 16"x16"x35" for example! - you would actually have to limit that box to 16"(H)x14"x33" (i.e. the height would be fine, but you'll lose an inch along the front and you'll lose an inch along both the left- and right-sides). Hope that makes sense! (I know this because I used the bag to pack a tall HEPA filter system(!) ....I was JUST able to squeeze it into the bag but it was definitely a tight fit due to where that zipper panel attaches around the middle of the bag....but lucky for me, it JUST made it!)This rolling duffel is really good. I have travelled with a duffel for decades, know just how to pack it. As the distance from the curb to baggage check or claim seemed to get longer, I knew I needed wheels. With over-90% 4's and 5's, this Amazon duffel-with-wheels seemed good. But durability and balance were questioned by a few. I just completed a series of flights, this checked bag performed flawlessly. Pack it right, it stands with no problem. Super-durable wheels, zippers, and fabric. So many zippered pockets, so many choices. My new favorite duffel.I took this bag to Alaska and it was great to hold all my winter gear in. It was great on the flight there, but when I picked up my luggage on my trip home the handles stitching came undone. I am happy with the gear bag. It will be a hassle to get a hold of Amazon to give me a replacement.The bag is big and weighs 5kg, so there's a quarter of your baggage weight allowance gone already.I guess this is for those who plan on taking over-sized baggage and more than average items.However, unless the bag is stuffed fully it will not stand on its end so you either have to lay it down flat or continually hold the handle to stop it falling over. not practical if you ned both hands to get your passport out!On the first trip the baggage handlers were heavy handed and the underside-runners got smashed to pieces on the trip. This is likely to happen to others. (see image) They seem too ridged and brittle, certainly for the care-free handling it received.Its not easy to pull as the weight of the bag is in your hands at an angle of around 45 degrees. The wheels run smooth but its more like pulling or pushing a lawnmower around.the concept is good- plenty of compartments, its quite large, there are several handles but i would not have bought this knowing what i know now.Fabulous bag! The different zips and compartments are very practical. I love that the upper part can be accessed from the top outside or via the net on the inner side. The wheels roll well, the telescopic handle is great, the zips are of good quality, the straps work great to make the bag compact when not fully packed. The material is not too stiff or soft - just right. It is a very well designed and made bag.Only one downside, the bag does not stand upright - at least not when not packed to the absolute maximum.It survived long air travels as hold luggage and airport treatment which is never gentle as we all know.It does everything what we wanted and as described.脱着式のショルダーストラップ付属と書いてありましたが付いていませんでした。肩掛けできるストラップのことと思ったのですが、勘違いでしょうか？急いでいるので返品して…という作業ができず。ストラップだけ送ってほしかったけど、無理なのかな。本体は希望通りだったのですが。10月22日追記どうしても納得がいかず、電話にて15日に問い合わせ。担当の方と確かに商品説明にストラップの件が記入してあるので再送してくれるとのことでしたが20日に届いた商品にもストラップは無し。→再度問い合わせ 本日22日の回答でよくわからないので再度確認しますが時間がかかるとのことでした。どうやらストラップは付いていない。付けられない。商品説明の誤表記と考えたほうが良さそうです。あと、謎の20センチくらいの板は取っ手のガイドでした！This bag offers a compromise between a traditional wheeled case and a duffel-type. The semi-rigid bottom appears robust, and provides structure. There are lots of pockets/ compartments, including a net-type division between the top and bottom halves. This means the contents will more reliably stay in place, and all the heavy stuff won't migrate to one end. There are straps to provide shape and tension.When full, the bag stands well on one end, with the slightly-larger-than usual wheels ready for use. There are two grab handles at the top at right angles to the long axis of the bag, which facilitates swinging it into a car boot. Oddly, there are no central top handles. This is the most significant omission in the design.The bag is made quite heavy by the bottom section, and I wouldn't necessarily choose it if weight is an issue. I'm also concerned that the (quite heavy-duty) zips may be badly placed for wear/strain. I think I like it. I bought it because my larger bag is just too heavy when full, so I'm experimenting with this more moderate sized item and a smaller bag for overnight essentials.I may come back and edit this if experience suggests anything further.This is exactly what I wanted. I bought it for my daughter to be able to carry her books and learning material with her to school each day. She is a newly qualified teacher in a Special Needs School and is always carrying large bags of books around with her. As she is small framed and constantly complains of having a sore back, I decided on this one as the best option for her to carry her every growing book collection with her.It fits in the boot of her car, although quite heavy to lift up, it does have handles that make it easier. The wheels are strong and seem to help the heavy weight well and the construction and layout of the bag is excellent. There is enough space for using this as a suitcase too if that is what you are wanting it for. It has multiple zips and sections for placing shoes, files, books, clothing or other.I highly recommend this case, it falls over when empty as it is quite heavy and the high. The handle and wheels are strong and I am thrilled with it. Initially it seemed a lot for an Amazon basic product but the one I have is 89cm and it holds an awful lot of things. Although it is a duffel bag it looks more like a suitcase.
