Nothing wrong with this kettlebell. Works as it should and I have zero complaints. If you are like me tho, a overweight guy who saw a random video that convinced him to do kettle bell workouts in his garage. Get a lighter weight initially. My man-brain thought 35lb was no biggie. I was wrong. You gotta work up to that weight for sure. I pulled something in my leg almost 10min into my first workout. I turned around and got the 15lb version and that works much better for me to start. I work in the heavier one on swings but otherwise use lighter weight for now till I can build up.Maybe I'm getting weak in my old age but it's much heavier than I expected. It's appropriately labeled though and weighs as indicated. It's easy to grab and knock out a few reps of various exercises if you keep it in a high visibility area, as long as you are motivated to do so.Black, smooth, shiny, and she weighs 35 lbs. I like it. I received it a couple of days ago and I am very happy. The horn or handle is plenty large enough for my massive man hands with no sharp casting ridges. I have a 53 lbs. and a 70 lbs. and wanted a 35 for light work. I just could not justify paying the extra for a "Competition" bell. This one is just fine for me. By the way, it was very well packed.I was traveling and wanted to keep my training going, so I ordered two of these and had them sent to my location. With prime shipping, it's a steal, as I got two 45lb kettlebells at near the same price I'd pay for one at my arrival location. These were more than adequate for the task I had for them. I used them 6 days in a row with various combinations of cleans, snatches, thrusters, clusters, front squats, presses, swings, etc.The handles are a little on the thick side, and the paint chips rather easily, but the latter is pretty common for kettlebells. For what I paid, I am very satisfied.GETTING them was a nightmare. The first time, they were shipped to the wrong address. The second time, they were damaged in shipping and had to be returned. The third time was the charm, which meant getting them a day later than I would have preferred, but they arrived well packed and undamaged. They also weren't covered in some sort of slippery protectant, which I prefer.Minus the shipping frustrations, I've been very pleased. You can spend all sorts of time trying to find these used on eBay or OfferUp or Craig's List - and you might find a super good deal that way so if you have the time, that's the best way to go. There's nothing useful about having these "new." But if you don't have that kind of time, then just get these. They are very basic, no fancy coating, finish is slightly rough but not uncomfortable. At least your sweaty hands won't lose their grip. They are what they say they are, and we will probably order a variety of weights in these over time. The handle has some rough spots and with light use wears the palm some. It should have been ground down for a smooth finish. Still use it, but limited use.Very good and smart investment for the price. You get what you pay for. And what you get is a plain, sturdy, and heavy tool.Great product. It's simple and effective. Ignore most of the rigorous workouts on the internet unless you're in great condition, start simple, start small. Strength is a process that can only be rushed so much, play the long game, stay consistent, don't hurt yourself. My routine to start was as follows:Workout:3 Sets of 10 Deadlifts, 10 Goblet Squats, 10 Kettlebell swings with a 3 minute break between sets.Seriously, less is more. Go crazy when you get stronger, until then, make sure you don't hurt yourself so you can keep the kettlebell swinging consistently.Cheers!I am a fitness enthusiast and a certified trainer. kettlebells are one of the best pieces of fitness equipment.Unfortunately we do not have high quality kettlebells like Kettlebellkings available here in India among the options available I found these Amazon basics to be the best of the lot.I prefer kettlebells to be solid cast-Iron with powder coating, these are not powder coated but painted, which is not a bad thing as they are protected from rust but they can be a tad slippery, especially if you sweat a lot.I have ordered a pair of 20.5, 15.9, 13.6, 4.5 kg kettlebells so 8 in total. pound for pound good equipment is the best investment you can make for your health apart from nutritious food and training.I ordered the 13.6 first and the moment I held it I could tell it was a quality product. Having liked the 13.6 I ordered the 20.5 15.9 and 4.5 (4.5 for shoulder mobility exercises). The 20.5 13.6 and 4.5 kg kettlebells were all excellent, no chipping in the paint, uniform paint job, no burrs, ridges or grooves in the horns, they were beautiful. I liked just picking them while walking around the house. Their bases were even and they stood perfectly on the floor. Perfectly weighted too. I did some swings and snatches and they were great. Now the reason for my 4 star rating instead of a 5 star, 6 of the 8 kettlebells the 20.5 13.6 and 4.5 were good but the 15.6 kg kettlebell was not to the same standard it was almost as if they were made by a different manufacturer. The paint job was uneven had lot of grooves, paint was chipped the base was uneven due to paint globs, had to return one of the 15.6 pair because it was really bad. Wanted to return both but decided to keep one as it had only a few paint chips. So my recommendation to you go for anything except the 15.6 and to the manufacturer: you have a good product please ensure good quality with proper checks. Also kettlebells are not dumbells they are used for training in a different fashion entirely. I recommend that you watch some videos by good instructors like Pavel Tsatsuoline ( Enter the kettlebell etc ) or Steve Cotter they are available for free on YouTube before u begin training. Train well.I'm amazed that I can get a 35lbs anything shipped to my door for free. However the bottom of the handle grip has a couple of tiny sharp edges obviously from the manufacturing process that forces me to adjust my grip slightly while using it. It's still usable but I wouldn't have purchased it from a store if I had a chance to hold it. This is the only drawback I see to an otherwise great kettlebell. At 35lbs I thought it would be a little heavier than the 25lbs I was using but it feels a lot heavier and provides a challenge for my work out. I am new to this kettle bell workout stuff so there may be more experienced kettle bell users that will find that amusing but I go a good sweat on and really liked the effort Ii had to put in to complete the circuit I have been doing easily with 15lb, then 25lbs at home. One word of warning, this cast iron kettle bell has a wonderful coating on it. It looks great but if you get sweaty hands (like me) you have to be careful as it might slip. It hasn't slipped yet but I would recommend using chalk or wear gloves when you use it for safety.I got both the 20lbs and 35lbs version of this.Weight is accurate. The enamel coating is also very thorough. Almost a mm thick. The enamel coating will chip if you bang the kettlebells together. So be careful. The packaging it comes in is pretty good as well. You can reuse it as a floor mat for the kettlebell
