We love it! I was worried my 18 month old would fall back without seat backs but has yet to happen but we do have it on carpet. It was easy to assemble but definitely takes two people and test instructions are terrible.Overall I like this table a lot. I give it 4 stars and my son gives it 5! Here is why I subtract 1 Star:1. Unless you want to spend 2 or more hours putting this together you need an electric screw driver with a really, really long bit. I found that annoying but luckily I had read the reviews and knew this (and we happen to have one) so it only took me 30 minutes with a helper.2. I had read another review about not being too aggressive on the tightening on the screws into the seat bc they could puncture, crack or at the very least look ascetically I pleasing. I was careful not to do this because half the reason I bought it was because it was so darn cute. That said, after only 24 hours it did get a 2” crack in the table (no relation to where the screws are. It’s disappointing but I don’t think the overall integrity of the table is compromised. It’s hard to be sure so I watch him carefully with it. No standing on the table. (To be clear he never did and I have no idea how the crack got there). Amazon customer service was great as always and offered us 3 solutions to make it right for us. Seriously... above and beyond on their part and I really appreciate how helpful and understanding they were. That really matters to me when kids safety is at stake. What I really like and kept my rating high despite these things:1. Genius packaging! Super secure and no mess. I hate picking up pa king supplies and this packaging strategy made it super easy and painless. 100 stars to the amazon packaging team.2. Just as cute in the picture.3. Price - truly a great value!4. Super fast delivery, especially for furniture. It told us there could be a 3-4 day processing delay before we ordered but ours arrived the very next day.5. Kids are drawn to it. I’m not sure if it’s the yellow or the benches rather than chairs but little ones gravitate towards it.I would buy it again. The table itself is very sturdy, appealing and was easy to put together. Unfortunately it said fits children 3-8, well my three year old will probably outgrow this table within the next couple of years. It sits lower to the ground & there isn’t a ton of room between the benches and table. Since there is no way to return it fully assembled I guess I’ll be keeping it. My plan to use this for my children for the next 5yrs will be more like 2yrs.We either needed a larger, sturdier high chair for our 2 -year-old grandson or a table and chair set his size. He is a little artist who needs to draw or color at all times and there just wasn't enough room for everything in his old high chair. I hadn't seen any table or chairs that I liked. And then I saw this beauty, ordered it, and crossed my fingers. It arrived as promised and super easy to put together. It is so sturdy that I can actually sit on the bench for a bit, but more importantly, it will easily seat his 4-month-old brother when his brother is ready! It is easily big enough for artwork and food and drinks but not so big as to overpower the room. Another important point is that this set is safe! He can easily sit on the bench, or sometimes he stands when working a puzzle. We don't have to worry about him climbing up and down at our dinner table, he loves it, and so do his parents when he is in our care. It’s perfect for my three kiddos! I really love it. No complaints here! If you’re looking for an affordable spacious table for your kiddos this is exactly that. This table is beautiful and I am so excited about the meals, activities and projects that will be head on it for years to come! The natural wood is pretty and the yellow paint is happy. The table and benches seem very stable and solid, even though it is made from a pretty light wood (though each piece is definitely wood and not particle board or something). It was easy to put together though the directions probably could have been a little more clear, esp for people whole might not be as familiar with tools and hardware. Just make sure you take everything out and line things up exactly according to the pictures, with the glossy part of the paint facing outwards for the lower parts. It says max weight is 150lb but we tested it out and it can for sure hold more, though I wouldn't suggest going against the recommendation for long term use. My 22mo old twins LOVE it so far! There's enough room for them to spread out. Could also fit 4 kids comfortably, 6 if a tight squeeze with littles. My kids are 33" tall and around 25lb for reference.Had no problems putting this together, (my husband), components were clearly marked, no missing hardware, directions were simple, and if you've ever assembled some flat pack before, pretty intuitive for the most part. We tightened with the supplied Allen wrench, a hand drill and a stubby Phillip's head. There was no cracking of wood. The table/benches are cute and study. I wouldn't allow jumping or climbing on it, it's not meant for that and I'm sure it would break eventually if kids climbed all over it. As a work/playspcace, it's perfect. I do feel like overall the price is slightly inflated, but we aren't dissatisfied with it. Benches fit 2 kids per side, and the whole thing is the perfect size for our 5 year old. I wouldn't get this for a day care or a class room, personally. I couldn't see it lasting long with heavy use by multiple kids.My 4 kids LOVE this table. I have kids ranging from 3 to 9 yrs and they all fit fine. I've even say on this and I weigh 130 I ended up painting the yellow parts gray and love it even more. I really like that the benches are not connected. It shows us to tick them compelling under the table when not in use. This table is very nice (though I would love a natural colour choice, instead of the yellow). It is wipable and a good size for my 3 year olds. However, after we put it together I noticed one of the legs has a crack in it that was just painted over. It seems like the type of crack that will eventually grow and split off completely. My only option seems to be taking it apart, and shipping it back which isn't ideal for such a large item. It would amazing (and far less wasteful) if Amazon would just send a new leg to replace the damaged one. So make sure you look over all of the pieces before assembly!I was interested in this table for a long time. I watched the price increase from $150 to $186 to $209. My kids were growing out of their little table, so I finally caved and got it for Christmas. I was excited about it and when putting it together, it seemed really sturdy and would likely last a few years.Unfortunately, it hasn't even been a month yet, and cracks are showing up everywhere on the table tops and bench tops. I thought it was maybe because I screwed in the screws too tight, but these cracks aren't even close to where the screws are. My kids are only 2 and 4 years old, are quiet kids that just like to sit and draw and aren't the type to climb on or damage furniture. We wipe the tables regularly just with a wet washcloth, not even soap. Looks like the coating on painted wood will just chip over time. Not impressed, Amazon. I tried to see if I can get replacement parts and not have to go through the hassle of taking everything apart. But the only option is to return everything, which like another reviewer said, isn't easy to do for such a large item. Very disappointed at the quality from Amazon Basics for such an expensive table.I bought this table a couple months ago and its been really great. However, I bought it for 186.00, I looked at it again a couple weeks ago and it was at 200.00 and went to buy it again today and it's 209.00.Super cute table that has been perfect for our 2 and 5 year old. These were great indoor/outdoor tables for my child care center! Very easy to assemble and great for children to use during lunch time.
