My husband and I took turns pounding each other across the room with this set and wow what a workout! He has larger hands and they would have been too small if his hands were any bigger and they weren't the most comfortable on him but they do work. I had so much fun with them in our test that I actually put them with my regular training equipment that I use on a routine and we play with them at least weekly. I love boxing and it's fun to blast him a good one and nobody gets hurt. They take one heck of a punch and protect you from any type of harm or discomfort, excellent shock absorbs ion. These are decent for the price. They seem reasonably sturdy. They're about the right size and have decent padding. the curve of the pad is comfortable when holding for reasonably strong hits.So why don't I go ahead and give them five stars? Two reasons - size and lack of adjustability. They are a bit small for an adult's hands. This is a good thing if you have smaller hands; my wife likes them. The description could have been more specific. This leads into the second part of my issue with them. Instead of the usual strap with buckle or Velcro the wrist portion is fixed size and quite small while the fingers are covered by a similarly restrictive shroud. That's a lot of extra material stuck on the mitts in order to sacrifice customizable fit. It also means they'll have a shorter lifetime. As the material stretches support and immobility relative to the hand will be lost.If they fit you right out of the box, they're fine. If not, you won't like them, and there isn't any way to make them fit.I got this for my kids, and can confirm it is well made and looks it will last a long time. I always use the product a few weeks before leaving a review, and after using this a couple weeks I can confirm it has stood up well to being smeshed.Very happy with the productSe sienten bien, dan sensación de buena calidad, aunque el cuero sintetico este no se si durara mucho... Man rutscht auch nicht so schnell mit schwitzigen Fingern aus den Handschuhen und sie bleiben dort wo man sie haben will. Kann man bedenkenlos kaufen. :-)
