I was looking for a more compact size surge power strip and this one by Amazon basics was perfect. Just small enough to fit in the small space it was intended for.It looks to be well built and ready just in case of a lightning strike.I am pleased with my purchase.Does not seem a solid, high quality part. Rotation is pretty stiff and doesn't rotate when something is plugged in. That might work for you, but it is not like most others I have tried on the market.A very practical product. Well made, and fit for the purpose. Key to cable management. Recommended. The way it can change the direction of the plugs is perfect for what I needed and can think of other areas that this would work better than what I have.I needed this in my kitchen behind a portable cupboard or multiple electrical items. My kitchen is small and I didn't want something sticking out of the wall several inches. The way the individual outlets swivel to the front or the side without taking up more space because the perfect answer. Recommend...It’s pretty heavy, which I like. Feels solid. So far, it seems great, and I enjoy that it has some rotating outlets on the sides. Also, excellent clamping voltage at this price point, which doesn’t often get talked about. So many surge protectors have a bad clamping voltage, which renders them all bit useless. This is great for the price. ??Wish I had some of these soonerI love how versatile this surge protector is. I needed one that would fit in a tight spot with enough outlets for my cords. The price was great and performance is excellent.Having the outlets swivel makes it much easier to have multiple plugs of various sizes in use at the same time. I had been using a static unit in this spot previously, and due to the shape and size of some the plugs on devices, I was only able to access 4 of the 6 slots. With this unit I was able to reconnect all the same devices, but by swiveling out a couple of the plugs, I have access and use of all 6 slots now.As others have mentioned, this unit does wabble around a bit when plugged into the wall so may not be the best product if you intend to be constantly plugging and unplugging devices, but for an area where you are generally going to leave things plugged in, or for occasional use, this unit does the trick. Happy with purchase. The surge bar melted into the outlet. It works well enough, but the big red flag is that the unit can't support itself. Plugged 6 things in and within an hour it slides out of the socket and loses power. So definitely don't use it for sensitive electronics. This is good if you need to put a few extra plugs into your outlet and aren't constantly plugging and unplugging them. This only plugs into one of the outlets in your wall socket, so when removing plugs, you'll likely pull the whole thing out of the wall unless you can firmly grip it with the other hand. Not ideal for using in hard to reach places, unless you are not going to be plugging/unplugging often.concept wise this product is genius! im able to fit a dyson charger, a eufy doorbell chime, and a regular phone charger adaptor, all on the left side! still 3 outlets available on the right side!quality wise, this is amazonbasics, so its the exact level of quality you would expect, it works perfectly fine, but nowhere near premium level build.design wise, the top is a bit unnecessarily protruding, it only takes 1 outlet, and when i plug into the bottom one, it would block the top outlet a bit, as you can see in the pic, the night light is not fully plugged in, but at an angle, it still works fine, just not a very elegant or pretty set up.please note, u can only plug it in either from the front, or from the side, theres no in between at the 45 degree angle. this is because theres actually 2 sets of holes per each slot, the plastic casing just allows u to plug it into either or, which means YOU CANNOT TWIST IT WHILE PLUGGED IN, if you wanna change the angles, unplug it, twist it, then plug it back in. im not 100% certain if you took off the plastic casing, you'd be able to use all 12 slots, but im leaning towards no, the circuit probably isnt set up that way.
