The rule of thumb, I believe, for length of jump ropes is 2.5 to 3 feet longer than you are tall. I'm 6 feet even, so the rule of thumb for me is a rope length of 8.5 to 9 feet. This rope is exactly 9 feet, so if you are taller than 6 feet, this rope may or may not be for you. This jumprope is pretty good. The handles are thick so the grip is a little easier. And the rope is also thick, giving it a bit of weight. easy to pack up and bring with you.I liked that the jump rope is very lightweight, it seems sturdy, and the handles are padded which is a nice touch. However I dislike that once you adjust it to your preference, it’s permanent and not reversible. I wasn’t really aware of that before buying it so if I knew that, I maybe wouldn’t have got this one and would have looked at other options. But besides that, overall it’s a good purchase and good value for the moneyThis seems to be a great rope. I'm a beginner and at 66 years old I don't last long ... yet ... but I'll get there.I'm 5'6 and the rope of course was too long. What I did was pop off the bottom caps and pull the rope through. They have a cool little "snap thingy" that secures the rope at length. I pulled them trough each rope evenly. marked it at the handle, and moved the "snap thingy" to where I marked it.I DIDN'T CUT THE ROPE!I merely tucked the rope back into the handle. I had to push it in with a screw driver which didn't seem to damage anything but it let me put the caps back on. If I need it longer, for what ever reason, since I didn't cut it I can move the "snap thingy" and free up the length. Don't overthink this. Just buy this inexpensive rope and get at it.This is great. All there is to itIts a jump rope that works and is durable. Cant go wrong!Sin quejas.I really love this jump rope! The way it feels in my hands and that the rope isn’t too light! I’ve tried thinner ropes and I am not a fan so this is perfect! I love this jump rope!I bought it for ₹279 by reading reviews, everyone talked about its rope quality, which is no doubt good quality but no one talks about handle quality, which is not up to the mark, it broke in very few time.I bought this rope to work outBut the day I had it in the key holder it was just thereI have not lost my weight.Neither the rope has moved from its place.Useless ropeOver all rating 3/5Durability: I have used this product for 1 and half month and its over all durability is not bad but in some areas it peals like soft rubber. For beginners: I have transitioned form barely being able to skip to 10 proper skips with this rope. The reason I say this product is for beginners only becasue I have used a high end rope and the experience is way different.Thickness: Is appropriate as beginners tend stress (wear and tear) there rope initially while learning.positives: Appropriately priced as you may not find similar products offline depending on where your live.Negative: No obvious negatives, rope does want it describer is title as....Bestes Seil bis dato, habe in den letzten Wochen mehrere Seile bestellt und ausprobiert. Incredibly basic rope. More expensive gym ropes are better for exercise and cardio work because of the materials used.Handles feel a bit weird but it'll do untill I find a better one.
