I really like this bag. I'm very impressed with the price and quality. Amazon got it right, it's like they took every laptop bag into account and decided to make the best one, that's pretty cool. The layout is very intuitive, you'll feel at home with this bag; everything is where you'd expect it to be.My laptop measures 13"x8.5"x1.5", the 14.1" bag fits it perfectly; it's as though this bag was custom tailored for my laptop. Awesome.This is a slim bag, it is meant to carry only your laptop and essentials: charger, a small notepad, kindle and some memory sticks. You're not going to fit textbooks into this bag along with your laptop. The fact that it is a slim bag is a positive for me, I like the sleek compact design, no loose space.The pockets inside are open pockets, however, the compactness of the bag seems to seal the contents in their place. I tried moving the bag around and upside down - my usb sticks remained in their pockets.The main compartment zipper design is smart, it only zips along the top portion; this "top load only" method ensures that your laptop can never fall out from an unzipped bag (if you picked it up unzipped, it obviously can't fall out the top, whereas it could fall out the side on a traditional full-zip bag).Some reviews showed concerns about padding on bottom (there is no firm base or 'feet' to balance on, you need to lean it against something to stand), I personally feel the padding, while not remarkable, it is sufficient, especially given the price point. I have placed a micro fiber towel along the bottom for added measure, besides the microfiber is a good accessory to bring along anyways.It is also a stylish bag! I attached a photo showing what it looks like to carry. The shoulder strap is slightly contoured and is comfortable. This bag could also act as a second carry-on bag, you could pack your travel essentials in place of a laptop.I certainly look forward to what the Amazon brand will be producing in the future.
